Guest Rick Research
I think the very first Bulgarian badge posted in this sub-Forum is a late Honor Badge of the MVR still languishing in the back pages:http://gmic.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=19624Side side comparisons of the nice little pre-1971 cased one which starts this thread and the horrible late equivalent from that old thread:? 1960s case/ ? 1980s case:

The medal showed by Anatoly in post 36 is an ULTRA Rare KDS version of the standard medal, I have never seen one in real life and they probably cost a LOT of $$$$$$$$ if you find one. Myself is hunting the Long Service KDS medals 10 years and 20 years and thoose are quite hard to find Big Thanks for the Great Threads about Bulgarian Orders/medals Christer

Theodor
I hope it will be interesting to see some of the well known badges in wear. Sadly not much to show, but here are a few pictures.First, a border guard busy with something:
Theodor
the badges. Middle and right are clear, the small red one on the left I am not sure, probably the head of Dimitrov on a red banner? Or something Soviet? Edited June 6, 2008 by Theodor
