Hello Gentlemen!

I have a question: one of the criteria of awarding by "Kriger-Ehrenzeichen in Eisen" was the earlier awarding of the military man by an Iron Cross. But was it EK-1 or EK-2?

I have long admired this decoration, but have never been lucky enough to have one.

i would like to show this variation, which i could pick up today from the soldiers family.

I think it is not so common.

On the top wing is the number 500 stamped, does anybody know for what this is?
