Germania Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Very nice Paul!I especially like the Bavarian bar! Pierce
Ulsterman Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 well, I like both of them, although the stitching on the top one makes me want to look harder. Also, may we see the BMVK2x/crown up close? It appears a good'un though.

saschaw Posted February 9, 2009 Posted February 9, 2009 Ah, it was you who was fastern than I. The last ribbon on the Baden NCO bar may in my humble opinion be for a Prussian crown order medal. As a peace time award "outranked" even by the Hungarian and Bulgarian WWI medals. Quite odd, but not impossible.
Eric Gaumann Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 What about the three lefthand ribbons looking so new and the four on the right having such serious fading????
Naxos Posted February 11, 2009 Posted February 11, 2009 What about the three lefthand ribbons looking so new and the four on the right having such serious fading???? natural dyes fade at a different rate
cartoonman Posted February 12, 2009 Posted February 12, 2009 The apparent color differences may also just be due to lighting conditions in Devon ... Here's a photo taken in the US...---Owner of Said Bar, 1964 until Just Very Recently PS Glad they arrived, in spite of British Postal!
