Guest Rick Research
Actually the buttonhole ribbon still clearly bears the imprint of the more usual smaller one piece device-- you can see the "ghost" crown just under the larger one on there now.Don't have anything suitable to repair. :(
pinpon590
Hello !I have her little sister : a "938" Wagner knight cross. But I had never looked at the ring, wich is behind the crown. So I have did it this evening and I have seen 2 hallmarks, on each side of the ring. One looks like a "3" or a "5" (or a "8" erased). I don't know what is the second one...I will try to do some good pictures of the ring...Do you jnow :- What is this number on the ring ?- What can be the second mark ? Edited February 27, 2009 by pinpon590

Deruelle
I have just seen my Hohenzollern knight cross. I see such hallmark. But for me the number 938 and W are repeat here. I try to take photo, but it's very very difficult. I have never looked there before. Many thanks to point this subjet for meChristophe
