ccj Posted May 10, 2009 Posted May 10, 2009 Leutnant Kurt ZehmischInteresting that this Lt appears to be wearing a visor cap that has EM/NCO kokarden. Am I right?
Deruelle Posted May 10, 2009 Author Posted May 10, 2009 Hi Charles, You are right. Never seen it before Christophe

Deruelle Posted May 11, 2009 Author Posted May 11, 2009 (edited) The next photo is from the book vol. 3 from Neal O'Connor, Aviation awards of Imperial Germany. There is a photo of Rittmeister Kloetzer. The award is the same that my ribbon bar in post # 16. Have a lookChristophe Edited May 11, 2009 by Deruelle
ccj Posted May 12, 2009 Posted May 12, 2009 What are the chances of this being one of his bars?
Deruelle Posted May 12, 2009 Author Posted May 12, 2009 (edited) Very important, I try to find with Reichsherr Rangliste all officers with the same combo of awards. I have probably a gem in my hand Christophe Edited May 12, 2009 by Deruelle
Deruelle Posted May 12, 2009 Author Posted May 12, 2009 Charles, Today I'm working on Reichsherr RL 1925. I haven't found any combo similar to my ribbon bar. It's probably not Kloetzer, but for the moment I haven't got no other name I have received this nice card of Immelmann with his dog. Have a lookChristophe
jaba1914 Posted May 13, 2009 Posted May 13, 2009 Vary nice collection. The kingdom Saxony was my collection domain before i start with aviation. Nice pieces. Now you should purchase a MStHO.Regards Alex
Naxos Posted May 15, 2009 Posted May 15, 2009 Hauptstaatsarchiv Dresden: Verb?nde und Truppenteile der S?chsischen ArmeeChristophe, perhaps you know of this site already: http://www.archiv.sachsen.de/archive/dresden/1441.htm
Deruelle Posted May 16, 2009 Author Posted May 16, 2009 Thanks Hardy for the link. Here is a bar I have shown several times for other reasons. But it is rare to see Saxon ribbon without swords. The bar belonged to Oberst Paul Krause from IR Nr. 185. It is with that specific ribbon I could id this officer. Christophe
