Robin Lumsden Posted July 28, 2012 Author Posted July 28, 2012 (edited) Please explain. Mine came from Weitze many years ago. If he has had another one exactly like this recently, then there are three known! But remember ............... I have seen a few repro versions of the Heuschkel badge on his site over the years. You have to know what you are looking at !! :) Edited July 29, 2012 by Robin Lumsden
Sergeant 08 Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 Mine came from Weitze many years ago. If he has had another one exactly like this recently, then there are three known! But remember ............... I have seen a few repro versions of the Heuschkel badge on his site over the years. You have to know what you are looking at !! Robin, I don't talk about the known repro badges. There was an original badge on his web site. Nobody bought it, two or three years ago…. I think it was sold for only 350 Euro. I thought, that you already owned such a badge, before Weitze’s badge was sold. But perhaps it was the same badge?

Hello Stefan. Thanks. That sounds like the badge I bought from him. About the same price, from memory. But I think I bought mine around 2004-5. Anyway, if he had another original one later, that makes three known. Thanks again. :)

P.S. your stuff is up ;-) Chris, not much about flamethrowers in the book - not worth getting unless price is under euro 10. PS: Thanks!

Naxos Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Did you notice? For a second time it is in an auction and now they call it a Flammenwerfer Abzeichen. Different seller this time. I think it is a uniform embellished for theatrical purposes like the other outfits in the picture.
Naxos Posted October 1, 2012 Posted October 1, 2012 Check out my Flammenwerfer Militärpass that Chris was kind enough to post on his site: http://www.kaiserscross.com/40029/437301.html
