Despite my "Evil-Twin's?" denigration of Mongolian items as Yak-Herding Badges........ I find them to be as visually pleasing as much of what was produced in Austria & Germany prior to 1920! Also, this seems to be an exception where the civil pieces (RBI,RBL) are actually a little nicer looking (in my eyes) than RBC.

On one of the dealer sites (initials RG) there is one with new highest number.

Also, in a week or two I'll have the new lowest number in my possession:)

Pics to follow then of course.

OK, I need a "Virtual Cigarette" please..........

WOW! and WOW! and WOW again!!! I have no words! :speechless1:

I know $8,500 is a lot of money for just one piece :speechless: , but this one is absolutely :o !!!

Recently 3 persons won the biggest jackpot ever on an European game called "Euromillions", each got some 61 millions... I wish I could win the big lottery too!... I know what I'd do with part of that money

    Congrats!

I've been drooling and dreaming about this award since I saw it on the dealers site.

A truly amazing piece. A real crown jewel, although I suspect you've got something else that would give it a run....

    Just great!!

ps. I think I might be turning a little green......

The only things I have to contend with this are not Mongolian, but are in my major collecting area, kinda exotic for this forum:

    etc.

Although I have some nice Soviet and other stuff and . . . there may be some equally nice Mongol things "happening", . . . ??? :P
