    Hi all,

The attached photo was sold on ebay recently. I believe it is the same man. Does anyone know what the award is above the Johanniter?

Hello, the last pic shows a Field Officer of the Garde Jaeger . The uniform appears to be a Kunftige Friedensuniform , and the transversal stripes under the Shoulderboards denotes a retired officer,

    Matty,

it is a pre-war photograph of Konrad Graf Finck von Finckenstein, commanding the Garde-Jäger-Bataillon. The award above the Johanniter is the 1906 Kaiser's Erinnerungszeichen zur silbernen Hochzeit (silver wedding jubilee badge).

    Regards
