    Here are two round 3 EK2s from my collection. The first has a smooth texture to the core and the second has a stipple core. I enjoy how "heavy duty" these crosses feel, not unlike a Deschler.

    I didn't realise you were on here mate !!

    Here's mine. This one comes with a length of mint smaller size ribbon, as if for the Schinkle's indeed; a nice example this one........but there are better onn this thread !!!!!

    It is remarkable we don`t know who the producer is. They all have the same die flaw so there was just one producer I think.

    Deschler is one company that made round 3 ek's, although I haven't seen them in this thread.

    Somewhere in this forum there is a picture of a first class posted, that is marked " 22" on the pin.

    It's the most common round 3 ek1, but it was the first one I saw with a mm.

    IMO most ek2 with this round 3 come from the same maker.

    I will post some pics when I am back from my vacation.
