Gentlemen,

I thought I would share my new ribbon bar with you and also my "analysis" of it.

-Prussian Iron Cross 2nd Class

-Lübeck Hanseatic Cross

-Saxon Albert Cross 1st Class (gold swords)

-Honour Cross with Swords

-Prussian Long Service Cross for 25 Years

-Maker label "Grabow & Matthes, Kiel"

I would guess this ribbon bar was made sometime in the late 1930's.

Given the backing is it possible that this is the ribbon bar of a Kriegsmarine Officer?

Is it possible to find the name of this officer?

I checked and there are to many who had the Lübeck and Saxony combination.

Right now there is another Lubeck-Saxony ribbon bar on ebay, but I can't find the picture.... Congrats on yours, it is very nice.

The only problem is the fact that the Lübeck rolls has not been published. With this we can easily id some of our ribbon bars.

I believe Rick Research was able to confirm the name of the Generalleutnant Dittmar medal bar I own by using the Lübeck rolls. Maybe not?
