JapanX Posted June 14, 2012 Author Posted June 14, 2012 As I said before, personally I’ve never seen any personal or technical marks on other (later) types of Mongolian Orders. I believe same thing happened with Soviets Orders manufactured after 1945 (and for some even after 1944). These technical marks were resurrected for a short time in the 80s by КЯК Cheers, Nick
DavidS Posted June 17, 2012 Posted June 17, 2012 a few more makers' marks for the collection. First up, Mongolian Ministry of the Interior - reverse view, followed by maker's mark then silver mark

JapanX Posted July 9, 2012 Author Posted July 9, 2012 Two additional exellent examples of tech marks. Alexander Nevsky
JapanX Posted March 2, 2013 Author Posted March 2, 2013 Sometimes technical mark could be found even on obverse under the enamel! Take a look at the obverse of this Order of Red Star.Do you see it? Remember this statement (post #74-76)? Well, looks like these are not the marks, but enamel defects that looks like marks O under the enamel. Interesting that even Durov and Strekalov in their book mentioned these as marks
JapanX Posted March 2, 2013 Author Posted March 2, 2013 Same pseudo mark on obverse of OGPW 2nd class
