CRBeery Posted August 23, 2012 Posted August 23, 2012 This is the first second class eagle I think I have ever owned. I have searched here and there and I do not find any others marked in the same manner. A Meybauer made piece for sure but I see no other B.PFEIFFER marked examples. Anyone else have one of these?
Chris Boonzaier Posted January 8, 2013 Posted January 8, 2013 That is very, very nice indeed!! I imagine Meybauer made, and Pfeiffer sold... as there was no enamle on this he could whack his name on without damaging anything...
CRBeery Posted January 16, 2013 Author Posted January 16, 2013 I agree. I just cannot find another example marked this way. It was an intersting surprise. I new there was a mark there but the old eyes just couldn't see it!
elbavaro Posted February 2, 2013 Posted February 2, 2013 I have a similar Silesian Eagle. But mine is not a sellers mark. Mine is written "ECHTE AUFLAGE" (real plating).
J Temple-West Posted February 5, 2013 Posted February 5, 2013 Very nice...and as hopefully a point of interest... the 1st class by Meybauer.
