AlecH
Picked this Deutscher Luftsportverband button-hole badge up a while back, Civil 3rd Form (large) made by K. Wurster - Markneukirchen / SA. Classified as large - measures - 3.1cm x 1.6 cm. one of a group of seven variants, belongs to same organisation which issued the three grade gliding badges (blue background with 1 - 3 white seagull birds) do members have any of the variants of this badge to show ? please not the gliding badges. Paul R
Some more great examples. Thanks Scowen! Were these just membership pins, or were they given out as awards?
AlecH
Two very nice pieces Don, nice indeed. I see looking through Hüsken's catalogue the first one show comes in at a tasty 300 Euro. Although catalogue prices are only a guideline, usually a overpriced guideline at that, still a nice thing to have in the collection. Scowen
Thank you Gentlemen. Alex; Yes, that first one is indeed a tough one to find. Paul; As far as I'm aware, these were just membership badges. Cheers Don
--dj--Joe
Nice examples Gents. I believe my button hole example is one of the smaller versions. --dj--Joe
Scowen
Nice one Joe. That looks really tiny! Thanks for showing it.
Pagan
Thread resurrection. The unmarked DLV badge here is bigger than the rest, the wing span especially. Was this a different variant? I quite like the badgeTo be honest I quite like all of them
BURGERHAUS
Gents I show my little Stickpin. A Deumer
BURGERHAUS
Lest I forget my buttonhole also a Deumer. Beg your pardon. Not a Deumer but a Wurster. Notice the lack of pebbling in the red enamel as compared to post 1. Edited May 3, 2015 by BURGERHAUS
