drclaw Posted January 6, 2013 Posted January 6, 2013 That early Rising Sun case is amazing! It's the grand daddy of the cases we now associate with Japanese awards. Thanks for sharing these amazing images. Can't wait to see his Imperial Russian awards. He would have received some exquisite bling.

fukuoka Posted January 7, 2013 Author Posted January 7, 2013 Atheists and pagans got their own? Cool! As one of the former, I appreciate the special treatment. (Unless the non-Christian one was of inferior quality...) Thanks Nick.
fukuoka Posted January 7, 2013 Author Posted January 7, 2013 Forgot the award document. Interesting that 'Anne' is written in kanji
JapanX Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Atheists and pagans got their own? Cool! As one of the former, I appreciate the special treatment. They will be classified as non-Christians :)
JapanX Posted January 7, 2013 Posted January 7, 2013 Forgot the award document. Interesting that 'Anne' is written in kanji That's is something UNREAL! Specially created japanese doc for russian order! Usually there is only permission to wear ...
