Jock Auld Posted September 26, 2013 Posted September 26, 2013 Guys, Just started to sort through this lot. I am sure none of it fancy since I cant find the box I am looking for!!! These are not my bag as WW2 is my thing but I take whatever I can find. Jock
Chris Boonzaier Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Thats Forest Gumps Box of chocolates.... You never know whats in them!! Some may get you just EUR10 or EUR15 on ebay, most may make it to EUR25.... but then again the Odd one could be EUR300... and I even have one that cost a grand........
Jock Auld Posted September 27, 2013 Author Posted September 27, 2013 Guys,Like I said probably nothing fancy there but I know I have more somewhere!I will pull my finger out and see what else I can dig up.Jock:)
Chris Boonzaier Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Hi Jock, The difference between a EUR10 pass and a EUR1000 can be a simple line or two on Page X .... I never write a Militärpass off until I have seen the details.... :-)
IrishGunner Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Chris is right, even if it doesn't hit the "G spot", there are interesting tidbits in these items. I can only urge you to take some time to scan the some of the inside pages. I have no doubt there's a couple flakes of gold in there...
Chris Boonzaier Posted September 27, 2013 Posted September 27, 2013 Whenever I see a Ebay Auction and the seller says "Here is the cover, I cannot read whats inside..." I think... "you probably can... and thats why you dont show the inside ;-)" Never sell a Militärpass without knowing whats in it! ;-)

I have to move the boxes that I have checked to get into the cupboards behind that have most of the paper I got in the 80 in them. There is little room and I have been down there again tonight but moving them and balancing them is like a game of 'Giant Genga' I can't find those civies wearing their awards and it has made me angry!!!! I think I have issues:)
IrishGunner Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 Jock... I'd be interested in the Artillery... No surprise...
Jock Auld Posted September 29, 2013 Author Posted September 29, 2013 Jock... I'd be interested in the Artillery... No surprise... There are a few because I can't help myself either but WW2 is more interesting for me than WW1, saying that its all interesting as I am sure you agree. If you have a specific interest then I will try to remember, Dons is easy with '180', artillery in general I can pick up cheap and cheerful from first war?Working on the principle of if I look out for you, you keep your eyes open for me?Jock:)
IrishGunner Posted September 29, 2013 Posted September 29, 2013 That's how collectors operate. Word, brother.
