Chris Boonzaier Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 I have probably posted this, but stumbled across this one while sorting docs for the book.... What is interesting.. it seems the Germans just sent blanc docs to be filled, stamped and signed by the Austrians. Of course the award would have been approved by the German Commanding General that the Austrians were attached to.... Unless 5 crosses were Authorised and the Austrians could choose who to give then to.....
Chris Boonzaier Posted September 28, 2013 Author Posted September 28, 2013 Does anyone else have any EK docs to Non Germans?
IrishGunner Posted September 28, 2013 Posted September 28, 2013 Nice... And it's artillery (If it needs a new home... )
christerd Posted October 2, 2013 Posted October 2, 2013 Interesting, the first EK doc I´ve seen to a non German , but there must be some out there to Austrians . Does anyone know how many EK II that was awarded to Austrian soldiers ? Christer
