    On the next Morton & Eden auction (Wednesday 27 November 2013) will be interersting full set (with 2nd class duplicate) issued to Junior Sergeant Ivan Petrovich Kozka.

    Order of Glory First Class, no. 2911 (awarded by Order of the Commander of the 4th Ukrainian Front, 25

    October 1944):

    "…In the battle for the Carpathian Mountains Kozka showed bravery and courage during the fighting …

    …in the Sanorsky Region of the Lvov Oblast. He was always at the front where the fighting was the heaviest…"

    Order of Glory Second Class, no. 1247 (awarded by Order of the Commander of the 1st Guards Army, 20

    August 1944):

    "…north west of the town of Burshtin in the Stanislavsky District on 25 July 1944, during an engagement

    with the enemy in which Kozka’s platoon commander was wounded he immediately took over command,

    leading an attack on the enemy, despite heavy and concentrated enemy fire…” “ …he fulfilled his task with

    courage, his platoon inflicted heavy losses con the enemy without itself suffering any casualties…"
