Sorry, but I don't like that bar. The catch for the pin on the back does not look original, the ribbons are strangely folded and I find it difficult to believe that such a man had no long service award.

But I still believe it is an honest group. . Obviously this Bar was not assembled by a specialized company; I believe that may have been assembled by veteran himself? BUT do not think it is "false".

The clasp KARAS-BERGE is a modern fake !

Please have a look on the other offers of this seller, he also offers a clasp with fake colonial clasps. Also i think, the Suedwestafrika-Denkmünze and the Kolonialdenkmuenze(in an other auction) are modern copies. All offered medalbars are new combinations, sewn together in the same style.

My apologies in advance for what must seem a daft question, but I don't collect medals and know absolutely nothing about them. Would someone tell me what the cross on the green and violet ribbon just behind the Iron Cross is? I have a belt buckle with the same monogram that I have been trying to identify for years.
