Flip to my wifes Great Grandfather who was Doctor, and very active in various organisations, Died as Divisionsarzt of the 6th Luftwaffe felddvision, the only medical decoration he got more than this was the Volkspfelge cross 1. Stufe, but a Doctor who was Lt. d.R. would not have had that. So a young Prussian Doctor, Civilian Landarzt, no real engagement in organisations would have about this? If he was lucky a missing EK1.
