It's interesting to see the SFRY to FRY transition on a ribbon bar. Do you know to whom did it belong? Judging by the Order of Freedom, it must have been Ojdanić or Pavković. paja
It belonged to general Pavković, I got it together with shirt and one extra pair of shoulder boards.

paja
Thank you, you don't see many of them with Order of Freedom Although to be honest so far I saw three ribbon bars that belonged to gen. Pavković on the market... A fellow collector has one with 13 ribbons.
Daffy Duck
Wonderful indeed. I have to check, but I am certain to have one of his uniforms, but without the Order of Freedom bar. It must have been used before 1999. The crown in my collection is a gala uniform with bars which belonged to admiral of the fleet Branko Mamula, and he had all top decorations in Former Yugoslavia (except mentioned order). Unfortunatly I am away from Belgrade and will give photographs ASAP. Edited August 14, 2017 by Daffy Duck
paja
Thank you. If it's before 1999 then his ribbon bar should be without Yugoslav Flag and Medal for Combat Cooperation as well, I believe he received those two decorations after Order of Freedom. Looking forward to seeing those uniforms, especially Mamula's as he was the only fleet admiral in Yugoslavia. I saw one of his ribbon bars in a private collection, it consisted out of 15 ribbons! Daffy Duck
Proper time to collect most of the uniforms was the end of 90s, as I was able to find Mamula's uniform (very customized) as well the parts of uniforms of general Kadijevic and general Mirkovic (very strange emblem on the hat). Just after the war 1999, I have acquired mentioned Pavkovic's uniform and I am so unhappy that I have missed the cap of late general Lj. Velickovic. After that I stopped collecting uniforms and bars, just orders Concerning Mamula ribbon bar, it should be at least 16 ribbons, as he had received Order of the Hero of Socialist Labour as he's last decoration, and it's on the top of six row ribbon bar. There is also a version without mentioned Order.
paja
It sounds like you have an amazing collection! Do you have some more ribbon bars? I saw only one 4-stars navy uniform on the market, can't say when exactly, probably some 5-10 years ago. I think it was discussed on some of the ex-Yu forums and if I remember well it was unworn. I'll try finding that topic...
Daffy Duck
In those times I thought that collecting decorations is extremely expensive hobby, so I have focused on military uniforms. I possess few of them (all with ribbon bars), but wanted to have those with some historical importance. Back than, the most important thing was to have a credible supplier, someone from the army, who can sell you those things. Amazingly, most of the uniforms were left behind on the cleaning, or in the offices after they left their positions. Once again, I never intended to collect solely ribbon bars. paja
I know what you mean, I also never focused on the ribbon bars themselves, but over the years they somehow piled up Most of the ones I present are not very interesting, no higher decorations, so I can't wait to see some of those from your collection Edited August 14, 2017 by paja

First one is good, but before the year 1985. Edited August 14, 2017 by Daffy Duck

First one that belonged to fleet admiral Mamula is the one I mentioned before. Third and fifth one are interesting because of UNEF medal ribbon, third also because Yugo Flag 1st class! Fourth one is unusual because of Military Merits 1st class ribbon, the rest of the orders are 3rd class. I first though it might be Order for Merits in the Fields of Defense and Security 1st class but the blouse is from SFRY period, not FRY. BalkanCollector
Another photo found on the internet. Stevo Opsenica's ribbon bar. What is the last ribbon?
paja
Excellent! The last ribbon is probably for the Polish Medal of Victory and Freedom 1945 (Medal Zwycięstwa i Wolności 1945). Wikipedia LINK.

BalkanCollector
Almost three years since the last reply, I'd like to show my latest ribbon bar. This one is very interesting to me because it has two Order for Bravery ribbons and a ribbon for an Order of the Partisan Star 3rd class.

I would say this is also a ribbon bar of Branko Mamula, but the latest one, as he recived Order of the Hero of Socialist Labour in 1985 and a combination of these medals is very rare. Some interesting examples of ribbons bars I have. Figure 1: Different types of reverse, an interesting example made for quick fastening / changing. the one on the bottom is an interesting example of adding new orders, sewn at home ribbon. Figure 2: An interesting way of assembling from individual metal ribbons Figure 3: Old model, composed of 1 + 2 + 2 and not 3 in a row as prescribed. Figure 4: first - interesting combination, Order of the Republic, Order of Labor, 2x Order of Merit and 2 lower medals. Probably a non-commissioned officer who then went into civilian civil service. The second - a NCO member of the mission in Sinai. The third interesting combination is a medal for war virtues as the lowest medal and the Order of the National Army of the 2nd degree as a very high decoration. Figure 5: The old type of ribbons, National hero Boško Šiljegović ended the war as the political commissar of the 4th Army. Figure 6: Interesting pronouns, in military service for at least 10 years, but not a single medal winner, probably a soldier or junior non-commissioned officer. Figure 7: National hero Janko Sekirnik ended the war as commander of the Slovenian XIV. division. Figure 8: Only 3 ribbons of rather high orders, perhaps he did not wear other decorations? Figure 9: my humble colection
