My rarest ribbon bar and the most beautiful I have jumping

    EK2

    EH3aX

    CM2X with date

    SF3bX

    DA

    Centenarmedaille

This is most beautiful. Please, put my name on it in case something happens to you. Not that I wish for bad to happen... no, I just want to make sure it's safe and that most importantly, I get it.

    Hi everyone,

I just got those two ribbon bars and I have one question.

    As I understand, there is:

    I. 1. EK II

    2. Bavaria Milit?r-Verdienstkreuz

    3. Ehrenkreuz des Weltkrieges 1914-18

    4. Hungary Magyar H?bor?s Eml?k?rem

    II. 1. EK II

    2. (Silberne?)Milit?rverdienstmedaille

    3. Ehrenkreuz des Weltkrieges 1914-18

    4. LS award

Is it possible that the second ribbon bar has also a fifth award? Something like the ribbon EK II has? The second one is longer and this white-black part is a little bit longer as well. Maybe bad explanation but I dont know much about ribbon bars.

    Anyway I like them!

    Thanks for looking,

    Hallo Noor,

the medal bar to my eye is for just 4 medals,

I think that each ribbon is represented by two pieces of ribbon:

    2 X Prussian EK 1914 Ribbon,

    2 X W?rttemberg Military Merit Medal Ribbon,

2 X Hindenberg Cross of Honour for Combatants Ribbon,

    2 X W?rttemberg Military Service Medal (9 years) Ribbon.

With time, (and this bar can be dated to circa 1934 onwards by the Hindenberg,)

    the ribbons have moved slightly.

South German mostly. There was a small but noticeable East Prussian and occasional naval fashion for these, but overwhelming most common for Baden, Bavaria, and W?rttemberg. After the Anschluss, some Austrians also liked it. Sometimes found in the Thuringian Duchies and odd ones as far east as Saxony.

I'd like the see a Saxon or Thuringian bar in the style. So far I haven't seen one.

    Probably navy:

    Austrian:

    Saxon:

Oddly enough, the Baltic veteran above's bar was made by Godet in Berlin.
