Cased Turkish War Medal sold by EMEDALS

Gentlemen,

Some of you may have seen the auction for this cased TWM on EMEDALS.  As much as I would like to have a cased TWM in my collection I just could not bring myself to pay the asking price.  It sold for for US$670.00 plus commission and shipping.

The case is %100 fake - new made by a German Collector , Mr.Faruk Cambaz .

The Bbco TWM is a genuine piece , inside the fake box .

Thanks for that info.  Very useful knowledge.  Now I am really glad that I did not bid on this piece and the box.  I already have a Bbco piece and I paid a lot less for it.  Thanks again for the heads up on these boxes.

Who says, that Canbaz (no Cambaz) is a faker?

He has or had a very nice and big collection of turkish militaria of WW1 and very nice pieces.

I would not pay 670 USD for that piece - although it would be an original one.

Medal pin repaired and case, as Avşar says 100% fake, made by the late Mr. Cambaz (R.I.P). 

Paul, a nice good looking BB&Co. would be app. 250-300 US Dollars
