Is my Leiber a Flieger?? :-(

It was hard to see on the auktion... but it seems this is no Leiber... i am thinking it is the Propeller on the strap... and it looks like a fliers badge ring?

Chris , The collar Litze appears to be over a black patch . apart, is a single litze and not a double one .probably he is a pioneer or a telegraphist , or a flieger ,bavarian of course

Hi, it may be possible that it is black, but the Leiber have red, and that comes out as Black on BW photos, so either is possible..

sorry to appear nitpicking, especially because I basically agree. But I´d say "that comes out as Black on BW photos of that time" as later photos are no longer orthochromatic but panchromatic and therefore the colour red is then represented by a lighter shade of grey than black. Same with yellow.Nitpicking-mode over.
