    Yet another question no one else is interested in: What was the initial design of the Prussian officers' 25 year long service cross?  Did it always look the same, eg, stippling within the cross arms?  Same monogram?

    The bottom cross in the center has the HOSSAUER mark but it is between the right arm and lower arm. Not the greatest picture but the best my phone will do.

    This is my favorite. The top ring was given a bit of a turn and the split rings were used.

    Hi Beery,

     

      very nice examples, i have not previously seen an example of the 1st version with the Hossauser marking. it looks like you only need a zinc copy.
