Since the man stands on the brides side who was being married could help. He looks a little old to be the brides father. Possibly grandfather? Nice foto. Yes this man is a general, and the bald fellow beside him is Duke Adolf Friedrich of Mecklenburg. The bald man in the foreground is Friedrich Franz IV von Mecklenburg-Schwerin.
