Obviously we have a way to go but I am wondering if at some point this thread needs to be broken down into smaller subsets i.e. Jagdflieger, Kampfflieger, Flak, Fallschirmjager, FD, Transportflieger etc., etc.? Maximilian Otte with Oak Leaves (24-03-1944), when the general was visiting the Immelmann Geschwader on 21-04-1944, shortly before Otte was shot down by Russian AA-Art. on 20-05-1944.
