Just saw a photo of him pre officer was sold a week before by the same seller.... I will try and get it to add to the boards....

I am happy to be able to put a name to this... Lt. d. res hans bierbach, 10th Company, III batln. He was still an NCO in Mid 1917, promoted to Lt. d. Res before October. The seller has more up, I hope to get some of the letters and reports... unfortunately no Photos... Best Chris

Hi, Imperial postcards can start at 0.50c if the Motive on it is boring. Awards and combat photo Postcards are on the upper end... But there is no shortage of romantic cards for about 1 EUR each. best Chris

Hi Jerry, for most bars the medals are original, just remounted to make them more interesting. Having said that, there are more and more copies of "better" imperial awards. If you have a chance before buying, post them for opinion. best Chris

Cant believe it!! Just by coincidence, i found an almost mint copy of the Jäger Regt 3 history.... on amazon !! printed in 1929.... and cost...... EUR25 !!!! I ordered and waited and waited for a mail to come saying "sorry, that item sold months ago..." but it arrived in the mail today!!

I have a very weak spot for 19th Landwehr Division EK1 documents, At some stage in the war they adopted a "patent" style document with the citation for the award.... one of just a handfull of divisions to do this.

Does anyone know if the officers awad was also in non combat version?
