    1. That is a fantastic group.. have you bought single medals "just like that" and ended up finding out they were to agents? Or have you targeted specific ones on auction, knowing they were? Best Chris
    2. Hi Demir, according to the bag they are a producer. I am betting the firm that stamped the metal is not the same firm that does the enamle work? They are two seperate jobs, as is making the bag.
    3. Found these interesting 3 cards about the 1st day of the Somme.... For some reason the French-German hatred at the time meant the Brits were rarely the targets of such cards.... so these are unusual....
    4. And if you stick it out till you are killed... he is going to be happy...
    5. Without engaging in any religious discussions,,, I find it fascinating how all sides used similar motives.... Here is a French card, not of the propaganda type as it seems to comdemn all involved "And I had said "love one another..""
    6. Mask 3 A Gummimaske, as Chip says, a later one with convex ring... it does not have the thing at the bottom of the tin to keep the filter from the bottom...
    7. That cammo is really nice! Here is a plain green... another small one, maker G.B.N. size 61

    10. Hi, could this wider ribbon be for an austrian bar? http://gmic.co.uk/index.php/topic/57141-what-is-this-austrian/ Thanks Chrs
    11. Hi, very possible that "Fr" and "G" were used on medals before the war, but which ones would volantarily have used the esoteric "Z" or is it an "N" or half a dozen other mysteries on EK2 rings if not by obligation.... Maybe established firms were able to keep their well known initials, and the others had things given. Maybe the letter "Z" was given to the firm "Peter Wicke" because there were already too many "W Somethings" being used... Best Chris
    12. David Gregory once mentioned some states where you only find a Militärpass entry, but no certificate was issued. Same goes for the gMVM of Wuerttemberg... i think Dave Danner once mentioned something about this as well... Can anyone think of states that did not issue documents? Best Chris
