    1. P.S. I have about 5-6 of these.
    2. Very nice. Many people will automatically say "Begleitschreiben!"... There are however such letters that actually serve as the EK doc, and for me this is one. Depending on the unit, there may never have been a document. For some Higher ups there was just a "Letter from the Boss" saying an award was made. Nice Doc indeed!
    3. Hi Les, have a couple of Gew 88s, forgot em for the photo. I hate the Reichsrevolver :-(... but think I can squeeze out of buying one by saying they mostly seem to have been with Arty and Cav. You are right though... I will have to get another P08 after having sold mine ages ago. Flare gun could be needed at a stretch, the problem is neutralising them, the holes in the Barrel cannot be hidden. Have a few infantry spades, but the MG Gunner spades are simply tooooo expensive :-( (Have 2 sets of optics in a crate somewhere). Unfortunately putting the MW in the room meant mothballing a bunch of uniforms.
    4. Hi, I dont discount any possibility, but even if they used German Style uniforms.... the undone buttons with the notebook slipped over the heart seems to be a totally German tradition for NCOs? Best Chris
    5. Hi, in retrospect, I was stupid not to buy it, it was buy it now for EUR49
    6. soooooooo...... give us a hint.... what is his father famous for?

    12. This brings back memories..... I remember one of my first books.... I was really excited to find a similar stamp... then found out it simply meant that he had been informed about spies and data protection...
    13. According to our taxi Driver the lower bar, left medal has a date (1935) and the other bars have the names of the emporers Children on them... Is there a site listing the names/dates on the bars? best Chris

    15. IMHO he needs to fill the hole in his head first.... ;-)
    16. Hi, yup, it was a colour postwar pic though.
    17. Somewhere not so long ago some idiot split the EK2 doc and Hamburg Cross away.... Maybe ask the seller if he still has them? All you need to know about this doc is here...... http://gmic.co.uk/in...h__1#entry58118
    18. Ages ago someone (Chip?) posted a pic of the Priesterwerfer showing all the goodies in the box... Does anyone have a copy? Thanks Chris
    19. ALL WEAPONS ARE NEUTRALISED ACCORDING TO LOCAL LAW! I had made it my objective to collect all the infantry weapons that were standard issue in Infantry Regiments up to 1917 (Simply because I cannot be bothered to chase down a MP18 and dont like the Tankgewehr...) Soooooo.... here we are... Cannot think of anything missing? Maybe a few Hand Grenade varaitions?
    20. Hi Mike, who is the maker on your piece? My intereset in Ethiopian as a small sideline stems from the fact that we have adopted a baby Girl from Ethiopia. Best Chris
