Hello Gentlemen, I hope that someone can help me. Several years ago I got this medal bar, the family told me that the recipient of the bar was an doctor after the 1 WW, thats all the family new. The engarving on the Militär Karl Friedrich Verdienstmedaille reads as follows" Dem Tapfern Becker " , the problem is that there are 3 recipients with the name Becker in WW 1. Hello Gentelmen, I am surching dates to the former Major Firmenich ! Waht I know is, that he served on SMS Stosch about 1904 an later ca. 1914 als Captain in the Infanterie Regiment Nummer 18.
