All I could find about him is: aus Rangliste das Deutsche Heer 1939: Stammtruppenteil IR 90, Hauptmannspatent am 01.04.1934 Aus Rangliste 1944 / 45 Nachdruck: Stammtruppenteil jetzt Gren Rgt 90, Oberstpatent 01.02.1944 Deutsches Kreuz in Gold am 30.05.1942 Im Infanterie-Regiment 41 (mot) Ehrenblattspange des Heeres am 15.10.1944 Im Grenadier-Regiment 553 This is all I could find about him, no informations about WW1 career nor a photo of him.     11. Hi Gents, this medal was located in an estate. All what I know is, that the former owner from this medal was German adviser to the national government of the chinese republic. I have never before seen such a medal. I appreciate any help in determining this order. Kind regards Andreas

    13. Hi Nicolas, the last ribbon is Stanislaus order or medal, and the bulgarian ribbon is for military merit, therefor in front of the Hindy. Could also be NCO / Deckoffizier. Kind regards Andreas

    24. Sorry to say, your theory is wrong, the Gefechtsspangen were not awarded. You had to buy and to pay for them oneself, so if you would not buy one you could wear your medal bar without Gefechtsspangen, despite you were allowed to do so. Regards Andreas
