    1. I see the EK2, HoH, RAO, and A-H MVK with War decoration. After that a peacetime Saxon Weimar White Falcon Knights Cross? and???? The person is a COL in the 1920s with a 2 device on his shoulder straps.
    2. Those guys in the first photo have been at the front for a bit. I'd turn that scope around and look for the relief.
    3. Having a hard time deciphering these entries. I know the first one is the EK2. Thanks in advance.
    4. I was hesitant to open this thread based on the title but am glad I did. Great display.
    5. Nice. I'm always amazed at what still turns up after 100 years.
    6. Plus quite a few crosses were awarded after the war as well.
    7. I'm sure some of the "men" would be detailed to police the area afterwards.
    8. Here is a little grouping I found last week while travelling in Ohio.
    9. Sounds like a burglary on command. Very specific items taken that are too well known to sell publicly.
    10. Also, depending on the time frame of the ribbon bars construction, the order may change. The Purple Heart was moved up in precedence back in the early 80s if memory serves me correctly. It used to be the last medal before campaign ribbons.
    11. Neat. From Flamethrower in WW1 to truck driver in WW2. The other truck drivers must have thought of him as a god.

      Medaille militaire

Thanks Paul. Other than the law of averages, being that more were probably awarded during WW1 than at any other time, how can you tell?
