    1. Demir, might this be one of the sons of this gentleman? http://tr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abd%C3%BClkadir_Cezayiri
    2. The ribbon is from a german taylors stock find with about 250 different ribbons. It contained i.e. about 50 meters of Hindenburg Cross ribbon... And this 12cm of Tamara ribbon.
    3. Got KIA near Vitebsk, Unit: Feldersatz Btl. 156 Decorations: EK2 ISA Winterschlacht EK1 Verwundeten Abzeichen Schwarz
    4. I purchased my turkish copy about 2 years ago for about 60 Euro. It was quite easy I just had it ordered for me by a turkish book store.
    5. This might be related to Montenegro. If you look at it this way, it might be the black mountains and the blue sea. Which is the historical description of the landscape of Montenegro.
    6. By my oppion this might be a serbian bichaq. I don't think it's russian.
    7. The finder provided more pictures from the backside of the item. To me it looks like a broken suspension ring + a missing screw? I asked him about his oppinion on the metal type of the item. He answered that the item showed no cupric acetate when he found it. The ring bolted around the medaillon is gold by his oppinion.
    8. 1. Without wanting to be insisting, but why should Hermann not have been given a TWM when Boelcke, Richthofen (both), Loerzer, Immelmann and even Richthofens ADC Karl-Heinrich Bodenschatz got one? 2. I think your conception of what a government in exile is, is not entirely correct. Your view would implement that also the decorations given by the polish government in exile in London are illegal. It does not matter at all what you thing about such an body, as long as there are governments around that accept a government in exile, it has sort of credebility. So a Tamara given by the Georgian government in exile is at least as real, as the decorations from the polish government in exile after WW2.
    9. I asked. The item was found on a field in central Brandenburg (near Berlin).
    10. Yes, this is the Badge I also came up with. Maybe a late WW1 version of this badge? But.. I noticed that on my pictures 1 and 4, that the cross seems to have remnants of a suspension ring or something (on the lower side of the picture). I will ask for a better picture of this area.
    11. With all respect. I don't think so! I found no hard evidence yet, but I belive that he got his TWM from the turkish military attache in Berlin, already during the war. As you sayed in #2... He was a war hero after all. About the Tamara (on both pictures above...). I believe he purchased the right to wear it from the Government of the Democratic Republic of Georgia in Exile (located in France), who gladly sold everything they could sell, to come up for their expenses. Even the Georgian Embassy in Paris was working until 1933.
    12. That was also my first thought, but after flipping to the pages of Vol.2 of Shishkov, it seems to me, that ~30mm is very large for such a purpose?
    13. This cross was dug up some time ago by a friend. It shows some features, that look like a St.George, but otherwise... I would appreciate your opinion on this item. Please excuse the bad pictures, but that is all I got. Size is about 29,5mm.
    14. The usual small talk of a man (to a friend), who is at this time at the 1. Marine-Funkmeßlehrabteilung. That means his geting trained as a naval radar operator.
    15. Dear Demir, I'm very glad that I could help with a little information in return for all the great knowledge you're sharing with us.

    17. Dear Demir, sorry, I was travelling for 3 weeks with very little internet access. It is Binder Brüder & Co., Lüdenscheid. http://www.gebr-binder.de/
    18. Document is autentic, signatures are made by stamp or autopen. 150,00 is WAY to much. This is a civilian award and you will get 6 or so of this documents for 150,00 in Germany. I don't belive Meissner had the time to handsign all this stuff.
    19. Why don't you ask BB&Co? They are still in business. I don't know how much archive they have from back then...
