Kriegsmarine Kriegsmarine badges in wear.

Fleet Badge in wear. From a Kreuzer Prinz Eugen photo lot. Interestingly the green cross above the head of the last man denotes he was KIA. At least two sites mention a single death on the Prinz Eugen during Operation Cerberus. Writing on the back of the photo shows the date of death and where he died. This date exactly matches the date of Operation Cerebus. This must be our man. See these sites: http://www.scharnhorst-class.dk/scharnhorst/history/scharncerberus.html http://ww2db.com/ship_spec.php?ship_id=90 Cheers, Larry -

Not a KM award as such but a lot of KM personnel were awarded the Spanish Cross for service in the Spanish Civil War. This example is with swords and is the bronze type. Cheers, Larry -

Famous "bride" signpost which was situated at Schapki, Wolchow. From a 20 Inf. Division album. There are no known colour photos of this sign but here is my take on it.

I agree with Alex. Nice attempt. the flesh colours are very good. Here is a colourisation of a SdKfz 263 of A.A.1 which was destroyed at Alast, Belguim, 1940. Cheers, Larry

Wonderful photos, especially the Zoll portrait. Here is an SS chained dagger worn by Werner Grahn. A little information on this man: http://www.scrapbookpages.com/DachauScrapbook/DachauTrials/Mauthausen07.html The photo has a dedication to a comrade on the back along with Grahn's signature. Cheers, Larry
