    1. Hi all, The attached photo was sold on ebay recently. I believe it is the same man. Does anyone know what the award is above the Johanniter? Close up
    2. Hi All, I thought I'd share these nice photos which were sold on ebay recently. Does anyone know who the Bavarian officer is? The other fellow might be Kai Meyn….?
    3. Hi All, Thanks for your replies. I assume that Hamburg was the region where he enlisted then? I will be grateful to anyone who can verify the name or unit of the Hohenzollern recipient Kind Regards, Matt.
    4. Hello all, I am looking for the first name and any additional information on a WW1 pilot named Droth. He was with Flieger-Abteilung 33 from at least October 1917 (as a Vizefeldwebel) to at least July 1918, by which time he had been commissioned. There was a Lt dR Droth who was awarded the Hausorden von Hohenzollern in 1918 and it might be the same man. Thanks a lot, Matt.
    5. Hi Glenn, Thanks a lot. His (Erich Poser's) medals and some paper documents were sold a while ago - unfortunately the seller only showed part of his Kriegsstammrolle. It didn't show his WW1 postings and although the auction house contacted the buyer on my behalf, I never received any reply sadly....
    6. Hi Bummel, This website has an interesting picture of his 'soldbuch' and medals. You might want to ask them if they can confirm or deny whether he had any additional awards.... https://stadt-sulzbach.de/index.php/unsere-stadt/rathaus/pressenews/item/2065-gedenkstein-fuer-flieger-otto-brauneck Best of luck
    7. Hi all, Thanks for your replies. He is wearing the KUK pilot's badge on his right: http://www.austro-hungarian-army.co.uk/badges/feldpil.html
    8. Hi All, I was wondering if this officer can be identified based on his uniform and awards? It looks like the number '13' is on his shoulder boards, but what is his regiment and rank? Thanks & Regards, Matt.
    9. Hi All, Did anyone else see this photo on ebay? I think it might be Generalmajor Siegfried Mummenthey (1886-1976) judging by the awards?
    10. The only reserve officer named Heldmann that I could find was in Field Artillery Regt 61
    11. Hi All, Does anyone have an example of the Hausorden & Ehrenkreuz shown on the same ribbon or medal bar?
    12. Hi Gunnar, Photographers name seems likely now that you mention it. It explains why his rank was omitted !
