    1. Guys, I found this amusing that the machine functioned to the very end. She was no doubt unemployed by May?
    2. Like you say there are enough people taking advantage of others. Perhaps you should have done your validation before you sold it. Your title on this thread includes the correct description of the tab and now you say the gull imprints are visible. You say you sold it as an unknown tab possible SS/SD? I hope the bloke did not pay too much for it as a possible SS/SD tab. Not accusing you of anything it was a question. We all read the same text and interprit it differently is all. I am always concerned for fellow collectors.
    3. Odd comment, do you mean you did not sell it as a WL tab and made 'some cash' at someone elses loss? It is not particularly valuable in that state.

You really scare me at times. Thank god I am a skip licker and would never pay the money that originals seem to command. Thank god you are on our side.
    5. Gordon, No idea, it came from UK. It shows signs of polishing but as you say has been badly stored as it has been in a garage for about 20 years. Like I say not my bag.
    6. Gordon/Bernhard, Thanks for the info. In addition the blade has a serial number (0750) but no maker mark as you would expect on a WW2 vintage blade? What grade would this be, I presume officer?
    7. Guys, Not really my bag but it was a swap for a Luftschutz Gladiator so I think that was ok as the condition is fair and with the box? It is a nice thing in its own right. Which arm would this be for? Cheers
    8. Guys, A bit of local interest for me. Not that exciting for others... 4 x A5 docs for a sports meeting.
    9. This came out of an attic here in Bergen with a few other bits and bobs, of note is the fact the squadron was based up the road at Fassberg and it likely came from there. Of note are the pink reverse stiching as often the cheapest or the most available thread was used and you can see newspaper was used as a backing paper too. I have no doubts about this one as it was practicaly a gift from a friend that got it from a family member that bought the house here when he cleared it.
    10. I think so too Larry but with such a crisp image I just want to reach in and open his pocket and see, alas not to be!
    11. Bernhard, I will ask a pal that has the detail when I see him next.
    12. Very similar in construction to one I have from Boelcke. i think I have it on here somewhere? Edit it is not on here so it would be on War Relics forum same user name from the first time i was on there (banned, lol).
    13. Uwe, These are from a new contact based out of the old East. His prices were very reasonable, I cleared him of all of his military themed pictures/cards spanning both wars and the cold war. I have never seen these before, a novelty for me!
    14. Guys, This should be quite unusual as most probably went in the bin? It is about A3 size.
    15. Guys, Local interest for me, was able to get it for way less than some clown has penciled on it. The 'kino' still exists and it is alleged Marlene Dietrich's sister worked there during the war selling the tickets.
    16. Quite unusual, I wonder what was on the other end of the string attached to his pocket?
    17. Guys, This today, demonstartes how controlled life was then? Or is just same sheit different smell! Couple more!
    18. Please see pic. I am not sure about what exactly they were up to? Was he in a balloon looking down or what? Was he simply surveying gun positions from the ground?
