The most important is the date of the award and like you said, some informations about the owner (date ob birth, death, unit). Just my two cents Christophe

David, In the first book, you find only Prussian orders and who received them. In the second part, it's not complete at all. You can find more information about orders in books like Die Badener im Weltkriege. Same for Wurttemberg, Saxon. I have all of these books in my library.

Hi Here is a group from Officer of the Jäger Bataillon Nr. 13. Only two officers received these combo. The first one is Leutnant Paul Hederich who died in 1916 (he 's not received the RK) and the second one is Oberleutnant Georg Graf Vitzthum v.Eckstädt (who died in 1945). The Saxon Jäger visor hat is very rare to find. Mine is not in excellent condition but I have one. It's the most important for me.

Hi everybody Recently reading one saxon historirc unit book. I have found another new owner of the St Henry knight cross ; Oberleutnant d. R. Franz Herrschel who begun the war in the UR 17. His name never appeared in the Richter's book Here is the brothers Herrschell. Franz is on the left Now with this new find, my St henry list has 2739 names. The Weber, Arnold and Keil's book, Die Orden des Königreiches Sachen has a list of 2749 names. We are closed. I hope that one day the list will be complete. Christophe
