Hello, I have a doubt about the name of your medal bar. How can a Saxon officer made his duty in a Prussian unit ? Especially before the war. I have another doubt. Your officer served in 1897, explain the Centenary medal. But why is he received the SA3bX and SV3bX (for Leutnant and Oberleutnant) during WW1 and the SDA 25 ? Something disturb me here. I will continue my research. Christophe

Hi, I have found this to explain the swords on ring. The Saxon regulation from 1915 still exist after the end of the Monarchy. To be honest, I have never heard that an officer wore all three awards and particularly one with swords on ring and another with swords between the branches @BlackcowboyBS said, during the Weimar aera the medals and order from the old Monarchy is not accepted. But the EK were still awarded till 1924. Probably as a good German who respects the rules, Fritsch has chosen not to wear the SA3aX on his medal bar and like Dave said he has chosen to wear the rarest medal on his medal bar. It is a good choice. Christophe

Hi Claudio, You are right, my first tought was on Flaccus, but Haufe received the KVK2, ÖstKDM and UngKDM and two more awards. It is not easy without papers. If his files was in Washington, maybe someone can do the research. Who know, one day. Congrats for your job to reunite such nice group. Christophe

Hello Recently I have found someone who is not listed in the St Henry books. Lt d.R. Hans Brückner received SH3 and EK1 on 22August 1918. He should received it before (3 weeks probably). I have no more information. I have found him on Dresdner Nachrichten. I forgot to mention that he was from Dobien near Wittemberg in Germany If you have more information about him, thanks for your help. Christophe
