    1. Hi, Nothing to say more that this bar is a pure fake . I can't understand that some people put a bid on it. The combo is a non sense. No EK ribbon, double SA ribbons with improbable devices, double EH ribbons with crown and swords !!! I just want to know how much can it cost to the final, wait and see ! Christophe
    2. Hi, All those St Henry miniatures are impressive. Thanks for sharing them with us. Christophe
    3. Hi, You are right about your ribbon bar, it is very nice. I think it is an officer ribbon bar. Why, because of the Princely Hohenzollern peacetime ribbon. But usually the swords on the thrid first ribbons should be in gold and not in silver like here. But there is a lot of mistery about ribbon bar It is possible to make a photo of the back please ? Regards Christophe
    4. Hi Timo, A real beauty, even if I'm not an Hanseatic collector Christophe
    5. Hi, Paul, I'm not sure that this ribbon bar belonged to an officer. There is no wreath (gold or green) on the Wurttemberg ribbon. So it is for the silver medal. Without reading my books I don't remember seeing one Thüringian unit with Wurttemberg connection. Christophe
    6. Hi Rudi, Congrats for this very impressive group. A real beauty for my eyes It is possible for you to make a nice close up of the Bulgarian medal on your ribbon bar please, thanks Christophe
    7. Claudio, I have just seen on Hermann Historica online catalog, that another Saxon officer received the Carola medal. It is the lot n° 5199. Christophe
    8. Very nice Claudio. I found that some men may received this medal. Now I don't know if there is roll about this cross but it's unusual. Congrats I have already posted this one in another topic but this one is more appropriate. Christophe
    9. Hi, It is rare to see a SA3b with SDA, and if the officer received the SA3b at the beginning of his career, like in Prussian with RAO and KO, he he received higher grade of the same order with time. that's why for me the first ribbon is only for the SA3a. That's only my opinion Christophe
    10. This morning I received this book too : Dienstunterricht des Königlich Sächsischen Infanteristen from Major Bucher 1914-1915.
    11. Hi everybody, This morning I received this nice trapezoidal ribbon bar . A very nice one indeed. The ribbons are for the Saxon Albert knight cross 1st class and the second ribbon is for the Saxon long service. Christophe
    12. Jean-Baptiste, The answer is in your question about swords on BZ3bX If it was for peacetime, the Zähringen medal was without swords : BZ3b Christophe
    13. Hi JB, Good idea. For me it's a medal and ribbon bar to identify officer. Christophe
    14. Hi David, Regulation said that before Hindenburg cross you should find all wartime medals and after it all peacetime medals. Christophe
    15. Nice ribbon bar Matt, congrats. Now you have to find the DKiS and the KVK 1st cl to complete the group. Christophe
    16. Hi, Thanks for your comments Sascha, I don't remember this link, but for sure it's the same man.If I have known it I haven't done the research That's life ! Christophe
