    1. Compare the badges of the 50th and the 60th. The Best Worker of the Railway Transport Left- silver badges wih the marks, right -from white metal.
    2. Chuck, thanks for showing ,you enriched the topic-more than 300 views! I saw the similar one in the Catallogue Avers of Krivcov. Chuck, I do not collect Soviet awards and badges but I like having a look at some nice and interesting items from the whole world.I suppose you ,too.
    3. It is not easy to answer, but the Czechoslovak awards are still interesting in the market for sale and their prices is not low.The start price was 500000 crowns-18000 euro. There were many buyers in the aukcion who were interested in this purchase. It means people have enough money. You know despite of the fact this order was unawarded piece its price was not low.Only the order with number 1 was bestowed to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rudolf_Slánský . The younger generation of the collectors wants the awards only with the certificates, awards with the destinies. It was the unawarded piece-no person,no certificate, only the piece of a nice goldsmiths work.10 years ago I would buy it but in present time I am lazy and too old to buy such things. My interest in buying fell down.E.g.I bought Klement Gottwald Order for 8900euro 3 years ago,but it was an awarded piece. It was bestowed on a woman. You konw when we compare prices awards with the prices of pictures,it a low price.Ok.My opinion it is not too much but it was not me who bought it,but not becouse of the price.Everything is not in the price, but everything is in the necessity to have it.Simply I did not have to own it that is why I did not buy it.
    4. I have found the the other photos of Medals for Bravery.Do not angry for adding them.
    5. Last year in May 2017 it was sold in Aurea.Despite of the fact it was the anwarded exemplar its price was about 35 000euro-1 170 000 Czech crowns.Only one award was perfomed. The order was cleaned down.Weight 85.58 gr.,purity of gold 750.I think, this fact deserves its place in the division. https://livebid.cz/auction/aurea_79/category/orders-and-decorations
    6. It is the same with painting, furniture or buildings-churches,cathedrals,minsters...Also awards declined in many countries over the years, too.
    7. Another Baden badge, but with the defect of the white enamel.
    8. Mike,I am glad you like the topic. These bagdes came into being more than 60 years ago in early 50th.The example for them were the Soviet badges from the 30th years.Czechoslovak badges in siver were bestowed in the short time.In the 60th and the 70th the badges of the workers were not in silver, but in bronze or in white metal.
    9. 25.The Exemplary of the State Trade.Silver 900 mark.Weight 12,3gr.The badge is not mine, but I have not seen it in silver since so I have decided to add it to the topic.
    10. I am glad the topic was interesting for you. This amazing set was broken.5-6?years ago I changed the Medal for Defence of Odesa with the certificate and the 3 Jubilee Medals for foreigners with certificates ,the Valour Medal for Slovak soldier with the certificate into the Czechoslovak Order of Žižka 1st Grade. The Jubilee Order -Otečka of the 1st Grade I sold for 200euro.Since then I have not found it for me.I have met about 10 Otečkas of the 2nd Grade for foreigners with the certificates, but no one of the 1st Grade. It is the same with the Jubilee Medal for 30 years of Victory, simply I have met only 2 of them without certificates since. You know the awards of the Slovak partisans in Odesa is not easy to get .About 30-50 of them were fighting in the catacombs, but many them were killed after joinig to the Czechoslovak Corps in the USSR or in Dukla Battle or during the liberation of Czechoslovakia.
    11. Igor,a small correction.Of course, your grand-dad could not expect the soldiers were not Czech but Slovak ones. The Czech did not fihgt against the Red Army.3 Slovak divisions were sent to the USSR to fight agaist the bolsheviks as the Slovak President Jozef Tiso told. I also have some photos of the partisans from Odesa-Soviet citizen Ján Prnas friends.I hope I will add them .
    12. I have got one certificate to the 40 years Victory left.If somebody is interested I will be able to sell it . Jiřina Švorcová was a famous Czech actress. https://www.csfd.cz/tvurce/1343-jirina-svorcova/ Her photo with the jubilee medal -100 years of the birth of V.I.Lenin
    13. I can read.It was me who created the topic and I can add the pictures of the orders what I want. How many useful topics did you make so you wanted to critise me?How many nice pictures did you show the users of the forum?
    14. That is why I keep the medal in my collection. The Americans and British also engraved the names or in the reverses or in the ridges.
    15. Look at the signature of my medal. It differs from the medals shown in the topic.Probably, there were some variants and different producers. It is interesting but I did not find the marks of silver.I like the reverse of this medal-very similar with the Russian Userdie.
    16. I am interesed in buying of Slovak awards, period 1939-45 to my collection.I am able to travel,e.g.Austria,Germany,Hungary.. The photos serve for the illustration.
    17. Chuck, the bagde is a souvenir but only for the members-partcipants of of the races,competitions...Nice and not cheap,I have to say.And what about the reverse-on the screw?
    18. I decided to add the badge -Prepared to the Defence of Country here, though i could start a new topic.I remember I had about 20 years ago more than 200 nice badges from period of 30th-40th.They have been sold or changed. I want to show the Badge Superior 2.Period 1941-1946.Material silver.2-means for officers.I am offering the badge in the Russian forum-faleristika.info for sale, but if somebody is interested in it ,we can agree.I am sorry but the nut on the screw is missing.
    19. Thanks, for showing the medal and for the information.Vaclav Meřička in his book Černohorská vyznamenaní writes ,page 40-Gold medals were from bronze -gold plated.
    20. A very nice medal, but there is not too much information about it.For example ,how many medals have been issued?Concerning me,I have not seen it for sale.
    21. I decided to create a new topic about one of many Czechoslovak antifascists. In my collectors practice I met with many complects of awards and documents of Czech and Slovak citizens who fought against Nazi Germany in WW II. Ján Prna /1922-1999/ as a soldier of Slovak Army was sent to the Soviet Union to fight against the Red Army.In summer 1943 as a sapper he was sent to build the fortifications near Odesa against the Red Army, but 28.11.1943 he changed over from the Slovak Army to partisans in Odesa. In Odesian catacombs he stayed to April 1944,until the Red Army freed Odesa a Ján Prna became the member of Czechoslovak Coprs in the USSR.Then he took part in liberation of Chechoslovakia ,near Liptovský Mikuláš he was wounded a the end of WW II he met in hospital. Look at his Soviet awards-documents.I also add the certificates of his Czechoslovak awards. The article in Slovak anfascist magazine written by me and the Jubilee Order of PW -1st grade. The booklet to medal For Military Merit. ...and some documents to his Czechoslovak awards. Commemorative Medal of Dukla Battle and Medal of Czechoslovak Army Abroad
    22. The photo of 3 bagdes.Vitez-Horty period does not belong to the group but was taken together with them. These nice photos deserve to be here,I think.
