    1. So far in my 1882 Rang-Liste the best I have found is Hauptmann Zander in Posen Landwehr Regiment 18. I remember there being a web sight with RL’s uploaded on it. Does it still exist?
    2. Thanks to my old friends! I guess I thought this set would generate a bit more interest.
    3. Are you asking about the Fliers Commemorative Badge? If so they made at least three different types. Getting the old itch back?
    4. I am seeing this type of combination in “Justice Advisors” in Garde units. What was their roll?
    5. I received these two pieces today and I am fascinated by the KO4 on NK ribbon. I did find an old article here that said 166 of these were awarded so it is possible. The patina on the ribbons seems consistent. I find the bronze 1870/71 KDM on the chain odd as I would expect silver but I believe this was a possible combination. Are there red flags here that I am missing? I do have a return period on these if there is an issue. Would this have been a long serving administrative Captain of the reserves? All thoughts are appreciated! I also find it odd that the chain has the orders mounted backwards!
    6. Great collection Daniel! I love the ones with the company logos on them. I have not found one of those in the US yet. Yours is only the third Deumer I have seen.
    7. I know these long service medals are typically considered common and not very desirable. I have always enjoyed collecting the odd pieces that many overlook. I would actually count at least four of these a rare. Hopefully others can post theirs and maybe we can find a fourth maker. Another set I think are rare. The common bunch.
    8. I have the three volume set that has many of the citations in it. Too bad this is such a secret- I can’t check for you!
    9. JohanH - I had not found your request until today! Hopefully you see this.
    10. I do know that is a rare one. Bought it for no money as most collectors don’t pay attention to minute details. It is for one battle and I think I got for under $100. I’m pretty sure I posted it here for discussion.
    11. If this soldier went to Turkey and fought there, would the EK2 not be on a combatant ribbon? The Turkish medals may be prewar but then I would expect some sort of LS. The back of the ribbons seem a little to inconsistent for me also. On my phone the ribbons and medals seem to be original. You have to build your collection for you and if you have doubts leave it for someone else.
    12. We all need that one Austrian in the collection! So few real ones out there. Nice to see your excellent example!
    13. I missed a bar on US eBay a few weeks ago and I bet one of you snagged it! It needed a couple medals. It’s always nice to keep a few spares to fix them up. I tend to buy the older medals when I get them cheap and just add them to my case.
    14. Thanks! I don’t remember seeing a zinc version before. They must be pretty rare.
    15. The bottom cross in the center has the HOSSAUER mark but it is between the right arm and lower arm. Not the greatest picture but the best my phone will do. This is my favorite. The top ring was given a bit of a turn and the split rings were used.
