    1. That what you show is the Ehrenpreis. Can you post a close up of the plaque. It is vary interessting because this is the second Ehrenpreis i see to a person not mentioned on the daily order of the MaFlCh. There is no award of an Ehrenpreis on 10.08.1917 or later. That confuse me. Maybe Gunnar habe some informations regarding victories of Chorus. Regards Alex
    2. Never heard about this. Are there any inscriptions? Do you have a picture of this trophy? Regards Alex
    3. What is an "aerial kills trophy"? All i can say is that no Ehrenpreis award is mentioned for him. Regards Alex
    4. He had no Ehrenpreis (not Ehrenbecher). No mention of this award for Chorus on official sources. Regards Alex
    5. May i ask you how many "Ehrenbecher fuer Angriffe aus der Luft" you ever seen? Do you ever had one in your hand? Regards Alex
    6. i know this type of badges. An observer badge same type is presented in the new book Imperial Sky. IMO this is types of badges are not issued but possible later replace pieces. Never seen a stamped one. I have some doubts about this badge but i can not make any final judgment regarding this badge with this pictures. Regards Alex
    7. The informations are from the daily orders of the Marineflugchef (MaFlCh) Regards Alex

    11. Realy nice crosses. If someone have pictures of this cross in wear, i would be vary glad to see this. Regards Alex
    12. While watching the Lippe-Detmold war merit cross 1st class thread I remind on my Mecklenburg-Strelitz cross 1st class. There are many mistakes about this cross and number of awards. But it is not my intention to start a discussion about this. I love this breast crosses and I would like to see yours. Regards Alex
    13. What Deuelle means is this letter from Immelmann to his mother where he discribed the bar. You can see that he used only the crossed swords for the HOH. Regards Alex
    14. I don't think that Immelmann ever worn this medal bar in this combination but i don't have any doubts that it is a period bar. Originally this bar was made for 7 ribbons not for 9 and later it was enlarged You can see that all ribbons are sewn with the same wire except the last three. My oppinion is, that on the place where now the ribbon for Anhalt Friedrich cross is, once the ribbon for the Hamburg HK was. When it was expanded (nor really proffesional) the ribbons were inverted. Regards Alex
    15. Yes i have it. I came to the same result. The last two ribbons are later Attached with a piece of cardboard. If the last ribbon should Be for the osm. War Medal it is the wrong One but makes sense. Regards Alex
    16. To bring some life in this thread, i deceided to show this ribbon bar i own for years. This is not a common combination and i still don't know what the last ribbon is. Maybe a wrong ribbon was ussed for another decoration. Regards Alex
