He served in the navy from 1938 - 1944 and was promoted to Kapitaenleutnant(W) d.R. on 01.02.1940 The units i have are: M.A. Za Wilhelmshaven M.A.K. I Düsseldorf M. Abn. Insp. (A) Can someone tell me what this units means? Maybe there are more Information about him and the awards he earned. He was also active in WW1. Regards Alex

I think it's "Fl.A 2XX". One of the Fliegerabteilungen Artillerie 200-285. And those were saxon units: FA A 204, 208, 226, 231, 244, 250, 255, 264, 275 and 278. Sorry but it's impossible to identify this observer. Regards Alex
