He served in the navy from 1938 - 1944 and was promoted to Kapitaenleutnant(W) d.R. on 01.02.1940 The units i have are: M.A. Za Wilhelmshaven M.A.K. I Düsseldorf M. Abn. Insp. (A) Can someone tell me what this units means? Maybe there are more Information about him and the awards he earned. He was also active in WW1. Regards Alex

    17. This is absolute a original period badge. I know three groups with a bagde like this. No doubt. this is one of the common bagdes. This is not the first time i see a army badge for an navy Luftschiffer. Regards Alex
