    1. Hello, found this Austrian military Merit cross with green enamel on the wreath on the fleamarket. From which time period is it, which class, value, original? Size is 3 cm. No stamps or marks on it. best regards and thanks Andreas
    2. Could the first one, a german stick pin for members of the german comunist party in the beginning 30´s? regards Andreas

    5. and from all parts and sides of the suspension.
    6. To make a judgement about your suspension that is what we need to see. best regards Andreas
    7. ------------------------------------ To make a judgemant about the originality and the price of the Bravery medal we need better pictures of the suspension. best regards Andreas
    8. ---------------- Yes the Glory s/N: 227.835 is most likely around the end of 1944 / beginning 1945. Difficult, with the Red Star. Both is possible. But itz is not the typical serial number range of long service. best regards Andreas
    9. Yes, should be an MZPP Red Star. Produced in September/1945. S/N - range: 2.051.119 - 2.290.504 regards Andreas
    10. Thanks, for posting. Interesting article. best regards Andreas
    11. A little bit late. The medal itself looks okay to me. Due to the low serial number it has a little square suspension. But better pictures of the suspension are needed to say something about originality. regards Andreas
    12. Looks like a casted fake to me. Look at the letter H reverse in the word "HAWY". The letter H is much weaker than the other letters and no signs of wear. The weak H is a cast problem, you can see it on a lot of copy´s. The soldered ring looks bad.The rim of the medal looks sharp and uneven. It´s one of the lower quality fakes. To judge this high end medals and to give a consistently answer you need at least this quality of pics to recognize a good fake. best regards Andreas
    13. Looks like a casted fake to me. Less detailes in the leaves conmpared to an original one. Sharp edges on the medal rim. The soldered ring is a give a way. regrads Andreas
    14. here is the picture Value of the medals in good condition (prices observed on ebay): Leningrad: 12 € to 16 € Stalingrad: 20 € to 26 € Caucaus: 12 € to 18 €
    15. Looks like a heavy used Stalingrad medal, maybe ground dug. As a general rule, all soviet city medals with separate soldered rings are produced between the year 1944 and 1948. regards Andreasa
    16. I like what I see. Where does the wall on your medal ends? There is a rarer variation with short walls produced 1944 and a more common version produced 1945-48 with a long wall. On the pictures you can see the difference. Long wall goes to the rim of the medal and the short wall ends at the letters. best vregards Andreas
    17. I like your Caucasus medal. Looks good. I added a big picture of a fake medal (casted). All soviet medals are coined not casted. Compare the ornaments with a original one. best regards Andreas
    18. Hello Dean, you can post the pictures here and on the other forum. A little remark. If you post pictures, make them as big as possible. In most cases the suspension and the ribbon is not very interesting. Use the free space for bigger pictures of the medal itself. best regards Andreas
    19. Interesting, how does he know it. There is nothing mentioned about award cards or the citations. Would be interesting to see them. regards Andreas
    20. Nice, looks like it is a commemoration medal for a trade fair in 1940. regards Andreas
    21. I don´t like the medal. The ring is a give-away. The upper star (12o´´clock) is disturbed and so on. I my oppinion a fake. Better pictures are always welcome. regards Andreas
    22. Hello Dan, Your medal should be awarded in spring 1945. 2.452.683 - 22.02.1945 - 14th Guards Rifle Division, 44. Guards Artillery Regiment (possible 14. Guards Rifle Corps, 2nd Belorussian Front). regards Andreas
