    2. Good day Would there be someone who has access to Völderndorff Bd. 4 and/or the work by Bezzel on the history of the bavarian army? I was not succesfull looking for it on googlebooks. I am trying to determine which bavarian units lay near Losheim in 1815. Thanks so much Regards David
    3. Good evening I am looking for the careerdata and ODM of the following prussian officers. They were in the General Staff of GdI Graf Kleist v. Nollendorfs army in 1815 Major v. Legat (August Friedrich Christian?) Kapitain v. Restorff Kapitain v. Voss Kapitain v. Uttenhofen Rittmeister v. Katt Rittmeister v. Wurm Rittmeister v. Novelle Lieutenant Prinz v. Hohenlohe Lieutenant v. Semmler Lieutenant v. Brassert Hope someone will be able to help me out. Thanks in advance, David
    4. Hi Alex! Great initiative. I will relay you the data on my cousin, who was a Seeflieger: Btw do yo u visit the archives in Freiburg i.B.?
    5. Good day! I am investigating a prussian Artillerie Lieutenant by the name of NN v. Grünthal. He is mentioned in a book describing the 1815 campaign of the North German Bundescorps. Up to now I have only been able to find 1 noble family by that name. But it died out first half of the 18th century. Could anyone correctly identify this officer for me? Thanks a lot Regards David
    6. I see! Thanks for the clarification. the montenegrin souvereign looks nothing like his photos ?
    7. Hi I am looking for the careerdetails of a sachsen-weimar officer who was a Major in 1815. I can positively identify him as August Freiherr Linker v. Lützenwick. This officer ended his career as a s-w GM and died 1856. He held both classes of the prussian EK. Edit: in the regimental history of IR 94 it reads that the Major from 1815 was put zD in 1834. His time in prussian service was misread by me and involved the surrender of the combined ernestine forces under command of v. L. to the prussians in 1813.
    8. Oh I had no idea about the ribbon. Just curious about what MgVM stands for
    9. Which one is the MgVM? Is it the last medal?
    10. Theoretically, how many possible recipients could there be? Just wondering
    11. v. Perlet Thanks for the information. However without the Stammliste entries (if available) or another way to find out the single or double p s career data, I am unable to confirm.
    12. Thanks I reread my post and it might be somewhat confusing I am not looking for details on Graf v. Kielmannsegge his career is on wikipedia. Its this Lt v. Schlepegrell I am interested in. Appearently there were 2 a Rittmeister and the Lt. As it was a Jägercorps, he may or may not have come from the forestry service and went back to it. But I am just not sure and am hoping the officers of the KJC are incorporated in the Stammliste of hannoverian Unit (possible the JB?)
    13. Good morning I am transcribing the Field Journal of the kurhessian General Staff during the 1815 campaign against France. The kurhessian army was part of the North German Confederate Army. Of the prussian officers attached to the Staff of this army, I have been unable to find anything on: Kriegscommissar v. Voss. Where would I be able to find out more about him? Hoping you can help me out Regards David
    14. Good morning I have a diary of an Oberjäger who was part of the Kielmannseggschen Feldjägercorps in 1813. Mentioned in the book vividly is a Lieutenant v. Schlepegrell. Would anyone of you (with an interest in Hannover) help me out by finding him in one of the RegimentalHistories or Stammliste of Hannoverian Regiments? Thanks so much in advance David
    15. Hi! Could anyone help me out in finding an overview of the french troops in the city of Rheims on July 8th 1815? I was only able to find a General Brasseur in Rheims at that time, of whome I have not been able to find anything either. Soooo, experts, pleas help me out
    16. Thanks! I have no way of referencing your information as I am not able to read cyrillic. So I take your word for.it ?
    17. Thanks to both of you. I have a general idea of the attack on Kassel and the involvement of General Zernitscheff (I can think of only 20 ways of writing his name tbh ) However I would like to make an annotation to this text I have. It seperately names Zernitscheff (spelled like this) and this General Poroschenowitz. Is there an overview of the officers in Zernitscheff's corps, the Corps v. St. Priest or the Division of v. Winzingerode if only for reference?

    21. Thanks v. Perlet. v.d. G. Was a westfalian officer, as was the main subject of the biography I mentioned. He is one of the fellow officers named. That, and he was a recipient of the CHOEH.
