Hello, here are some better pictures of one of the crossed i will post more when i can relocate them 🙂 This particular cross has the 25 yr oakleaf cluster and though not shown has 2 holes in further up the band so it looks as though it may of had a bar attached some time.

Hi all, the reverse of the first class has been posted before on here but have included it again. All of us are eager to see closer shots of the EKs and the reverse of 1st Class Also The bar is given only few times and to get an original will be nearly impossible task There are so many fakes of them on the market especially eBay Germany Hi Peter i have long wanted a 1914 bar, have seen two lately (but both with repaired pins) but have resisted due to cost 😞 as other projects have to be finished....

Hi to all here is a shot of my 1870 EK`s for your enjoyment. I know the type `B` has the wrong band on it but that's how i acquired the cross almost 40 yrs ago

Kriegsmarine badges
ashley58 replied to Martyn's topic in Germany: Third Reich: Uniforms, Headwear, Insignia & Equipment
Hi, sorry for the delay in answering but i disposed of my Kriegsmarine books long ago but am sure the small anchor badge is worn on the swimming trunks /but in all honesty i am thinking they may be Bundesmarine as they bear no resemblance(in my mind) to Kriegsm. badges ?? cheers Ashley -
mmm the small flaw beading is usually a a small dash in the same position where you have the `V` shape, the pictures are poor (i know they are not the easiest to capture)so i am not to sure in hand examination required unles you can take better pictures ?

Hello all, bit of a weird one here an 1870 2nd class but with a non magnetic centre. Would like your thoughts please ? it seems that the core is to large for the frame (will try and take some side shots) Thanks in advance Ashley
