    1. mmm the small flaw beading is usually a a small dash in the same position where you have the `V` shape, the pictures are poor (i know they are not the easiest to capture)so i am not to sure in hand examination required unles you can take better pictures ?
    2. Hi Peter, yes measures approx. 42X42 and weighs17.5 gr. here is a couple of shots one of the 6o`clock arm and another of the 9 o`clock arm and there seems to be a grey filling between the silver arm`s ? Anyy comments welcome ?

    12. Doubt if it was anything of importance ..... though they had an active foreign legion during the war, but probably just used to pin to a board ??
    13. With regard t1813 crosses remember that ( original first 500) the arms were pinned together ? so that may count for the multiple construction. i am sure one of mine is 27 pieces ..? must check it out lol

    17. from what i can see maybe the war merit cross and Naval shoulder MAY be ok but the rest look dubious !
    18. Hello all, trying to get to grips on an awardee of the 1870 EK 1st class, he is listed as number 296 in the roll ........ but ids his name Flodher or as mentioned Flocker any ideas please. Cheers Ashley ?????
    19. I believe both Mayer and Deumer produced crosses with more rounded corners, and usually more so in the inter war eras?
    20. yes they do appear on occasions i also have a 1939 version with the typical French style pin as a mounting ? as seen below
