    1. This one came in today(bought a lot of imperial stuff at Ebay and overlooked this one totally.made of zinc,in wonderful condition....it took me a while to find out what it is(someone at the MFF has posted a grouping of the II./JG 27 Bären-Jagdgruppe with an identical badge).Have a look-good one?
    2. This one dropped in while I was in Teheran-1870 EKII type B with an old repair of the ribbon ring. The details of the cross are absolutely superb, the battleclasps are the bonus(especially the Mont Valerien). As it's more a kind of medal bar as a single iron cross I've decided to post it in this section.... Micha
    3. Never seen a good one maker marked.Once I came across a K.A.G marked example with core Type B(1st classes marked with Godet).the cross was good, the ring for sure a replacement taken by from a '14 EKII and used for a repair.I wouldn't by such an EK! Micha
    4. Well, you have to wait for more pics-I'm in Teheran at the moment and won't return to my iron crosses breeding and care station until the first or second week in July! Micha
    5. More a Godet/Meybauer core with a textbook AWS reverse.....but don't ask me why.... Micha
    6. Roarling silence.....anthing odd with this eK?
    7. Am I?It is not as easy as it looks..... Micha
    8. Kay,I think the cross was once cleaned very rough-I had a "CD800" with the same look(also treated totally wrong)... Micha
    9. Mike said his EK is magnetic! But I like what I see... Micha
    10. Definitely no Souval EK! Why a Souval? Micha Aahhh.....Souval core and Orth frame....may be.But-is it possible to get a better(bigger) picture? Micha
    11. In the SDA forum we had collected what we have in our collections(and I believe there are much more.....) Micha LV LV 4 LV 8 LV 10 LV 11 LV 15 LV 17 LV 19 LV 29 LV 42 LV 52 LV 60 LV 65 LV 75 LV 78 LV 80 LV 82
    12. Tom.....that would be definitely a cross to have for a closer inspection! Chris-have a look and decide! Micha
    13. The blued core EKs by Zimmermann,Chris! But here with a different core.... Micha
    14. I can see there is a marking at the ribbon ring...readable? Micha
    15. MFH....it's an MFH marking!I've got more than 300 different ones-just variations and more variations. It's a long way Micha
    16. I have to disagree-after comparing this one with all maker marked pieces in my collection without success I've asked Grueni(excessive '39 EKII collector).he told me it's the "standard" one-always unmarked and still unidentified. Micha
    17. This is not a case for an iron cross.I remember something like your set was sold by DN a few years ago-we discussed it at a German forum and someone brought up it's something civilian(farming, breeding ect). When I have found it I will post it here. Micha
    18. You are talking about a complete list of the recipients of the '39 EKII? I'm sure there is nothing like that! Micha
    19. This is one of the makers I have seen only exactly this core design in combination with this maker mark!So no variations(but never say never).And-"MFH" is far away from being common.just the condition ...... Micha
    20. Troy,in the end you will find out that nearly every combination between different cores and different maker marks is possible. With a few exceptions,of course.... Mich
    21. Yes,I know... http://www.dutchhelmets.nl/index.php?option=com_content&view=category&id=47&Itemid=59&lang=nl A really good page about the netherlands helmets! Micha
    22. Hard to tell...think it must be around 40 left(I've kicked out all the common ones...just two gladiators left!) And no,nothing else Luftschuz related. My iron crosses are in the pool position! Micha
    23. You are absolutely right-it's not only the"8" that gives this cross a red flag-it's also the 9th bead of the crown(9th bead fake). So nothing you want to spend your money for... Micha
