    1. now thats the third great bar for today in this forum last one is the medal of the Kaiser Wilhelm Gesellschaft!!! In combination with the ?lbergkreuz !!! great bar..... have a look here... Hertzog
    2. :speechless1: now that is a very lovely bar!!!! Thanks for showing Claudio !!!! :jumping:
    3. too many questions..................... makes no sense to me... A 1870 (!!!) military medical cross........ ........ BUT ........ no war medal 1870/71 and no centenar medal 1897 for all the peaople of the 70/71 war ??? ......... AND THEN active in war 1914/18 ......... ...... AND ........ STILL ALIVE IN 1934 !!! to geht his frontfighters cross in the age of over 84 or something like that ------ hhhhhhmmmmmmmmmmmm I don`t know.... with a 1914 medical cross it would be much easier to accept for me... ;-)
    4. .................just to let you know that I have got back 4 things from the darmstadt police some days ago........ the man that was the main suspect criminal in this case got 8 years !!! Of course not for my "little" robbery but for the bigger things he was involved in like Schloss Hohenschwangau.... After this hard punch loosing most of my collection I stopped collecting medal bars.... the heart was broken and I turned my main focus on photos of colonial soldiers and imperial navy - makes fun too...... so please visit the sales section if you are interested in some goodies
    5. ..........this is a very very interesting and unique medal bar.... if they had some kind of big store I could explain the DSWA-medal in some kind of support for the colonial campaign - but then a red cross medal? to a merchant??? and for what did he get the belgian crown order? Very interesting picture with a lot of questions and a lot of history behind it !!! great find!!!
    6. sorry.............but I am really not happy with this bar... homemade or not - the combination is too weired...
    7. ..........just one question how can you pass on something that has been sold on ebay some days ago??? :o
    8. eieieiei............ some new glasses on christmas please.... :speechless:
    9. ........just one word to ribbon bar N?1 it is the austrian red cross award in pos 4 HOHX but no EK is nonsense , ribbon bar dates from ca. 1940 with the 3.Reich 25y TD as Beamter.... so no EK ribbon in the buttonhole no good feeling
    10. Claudio, this is a type of battle clasps I can`t say 100% by photos......... when we meet some day and I can see them real it is no problem, but there is a 50-50 chance when you don`t have a perfect photo of the clasps.... other types of clasps are easier to ID by photos , but this type has been faked some years ago very often.... of course there are a lot of low quality fakes around but some of the better ones come close to the originals..... sorry, but from this photo I don`t want to make a 100% statement. But........ the whole bar looks good, if you say the clasps look like they have been on this bar for 70 years now - everything should be ok..... can you lift up the clasps 1mm to see if the ribbon looks like it was covered by the clasps for many years?
    11. .......... it is a civil 3.Reich DA - not military !!! So, no re-activation..... maybe he was some official doctor, not private...?!
    12. ................. just as little warning for all those stupid guys who don`t want to learn anything about the basics of "strategies and tactics" : the seller of this bar is from GRAFENAU in germany !!! how many threads in how many forums do we need before every man on this planet knows this damned bastard who sells bars and orders he does not own ???!!! Actual price is 655 euro and rising............. 100% guarantee : you will get nothing for your money
    13. ......and not to forget: this is one of the two very rare clasps to this cross together with the clasp SEEKRIEG all the other clasps are more common and often seen...
    14. This clasp is for the so called "Flanderncross" - the rememberance cross of the marinecorps flandern.... sorry, I have a new pc and no pictures available but you can find this cross and ribbon several times in this forum and I am shure some fellow member will add a picture soon... Heiko
    15. This is why the seller said in his auction title "picture from Glogau" ..... that is a german city..... but maybe it is his name ?! The only Glaugau that could be a match is a Generaloberarzt Dr. Glaugau that has a RAO4 in 1914 !!! Could it be him?
    16. What a small world............................ The group has been sold to another member of this forum, maybe he will be very lucky now to get a name to this group with a now known face and a (for us) new breast cross to this group !!!! In my eyes this is exactly the medal bar from my (former) group !!!! picture has been sold on ebay.de for 68 Euro... Heiko
    17. of course it is the wrong ribbon for the first medal if it is a noncom bar - what makes you shure that the ribbon is wrong and not the right medal is missing??? A bit confusing, but you know what I want to say... ;-)
    18. oooooooooooooouuuuuuuuuuuuuu......................... a deja vu I remember this one...... no, not this one........ but the combination............. or nearly this combination...........but a bit bigger............ but nearly the same.............. here is a medal bar I had in my collection once upon a time........... really, nearly the same non-com combination - great !!!
    19. sorry but from what I can see on the picture the strassburg clasp is a new one too .............
    20. OK gentlemen............ let`s put together a little SWAT-team and visit this bastard !!!! :violent:
    21. now that`s a surprise................ if you don`t have the original medal ---------- just go marching in the netherlands !!!
