    1. Did anyone of you see the small possibility that this is not a EK2 in first place???
    2. I watched it.... interesting bar with a (I think so) unique combination.... but a bit too expensive for me ;)
    3. Agreed..... I have seen some medal bars in my life with TWO 3.Reich civil service awards , for shure possible and I would not change anything on this bar.... and yes , for shure he was a "he" and not a woman... ;)
    4. No.....the ribbon is right - the cross is wrong This cross makes for shure no sense on this bar....
    5. Very nice things.............. but please......... don`t let the guys from Oldenburg hear that they are Oldenbergs now ;)
    6. You need to lern reading old german writing.... It means: Herr Oberleutnant zur See Schroeder For shure it belongs to him.... and he was on SMS ILTIS which was proudly allowed to wear the pour le merite !!! (The ship - not Schroeder .... ) Heiko
    7. and here my second nurse with TWM.....
    8. One simple question for the turkish friends.... Turkish war medals (iron halfmoons) - have they been officially awarded to women? especially nurses ? we are talking about a interesting picture in a german forum were a nurse weares a star (I say a TWM) as a neck brooche... and I have another picture of a nurse with the star and a additional turkish red cross medal. Are these halfmoons official awarded pieces - or some kind of gifts given by wounded soldiers? Any information? here are the pictures , thanks in advance for your help... Heiko
    9. I think so.... the only problem is that we have no date to start the search.... I can`t go through every year with hundred of pages.... I went through the complete DOA 1905 last night and checked all the silver COMs but no match....
    10. I never would buy any bar without good closeups of the colonial battle clasps..... everything from this distance is just guessing :shame:
    11. As said before....a good combination , typical and sometimes seen with little variationes , and without seeing the reverse I would buy it directly - I don`t say it is a bad one , no no , just two little things make me a bit nervous.... let`s see what others have to say
    12. The combination of awards would make sense but the reverse would make me nervous.... waiting for better pictures
    13. Hi Claudius, for shure......some of them are here but I am not the winner... cheers Heiko
    14. Very cool !!! I know one very special Seeheld that will get some problems with breathing now.....
    15. Sascha is completely right and the 15y cross is the only award on the bar that is fixed in a different way to the others... I would say it has been a 24y officers cross there and sometime it was switched against the 15y cross that makes not too much sense... ;)
    16. This is a 15 years long service cross for NCOs , given out since 1913.... interesting combination , maybe the MVO was a civil award and the other two for military career.... cool bar
    17. Just a guess.... .... but someone who entered prussian army in 1904 could not have got the Baden jubilee medal of 1902 :shame:
